Creative Experiences
I graduated with a BA (1st Class Hons) in Performing Arts many moons ago and have since been fascinated by acting and the effect performances can have on others. I went on to study for a Masters in Writing for Performance & Publication and haven't looked back since!
Today, I’m proud of both the Theatre productions and TV work I've been involved in ranging from performances at the Lowry, working in soaps such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale etc, commercial and voice overs and more recently my work within Podplays and a recent role playing 'Jackie' in Brassic (Series 4).
I’m still actively working in both acting and script writing and have desires now to broaden such opportunities out to others with an invested interest in acting too, especially those from a working class background who can often feel like such opportunities are out of their reach!

SCRIPT WRITER
Following my studies, having completed a Masters in Writing for Performance & Publication at the University of Leeds, I created my first stage play 'Goldfish'. This was accepted as part of the 24:7 Theatre Festival in Manchester.

I have since written several Podplays for MancMade Productions and a spoken word piece for the Manc Spirit Charity.

DIRECTOR
I have worked extensively on student productions. directing various performances within the Northwest. I currently work as an Acting lecturer at The Pendleton School of Performance, working with both Acting and Musical Theatre students, alongside my own professional projects within an acting/writing capacity.

ACTING COACH/LECTURER
Alongside my professional work within the Industry I work part time as a lecturer in acting. I am currently working at the Pendleton School of Theatre with both Acting and Musical Theatre students on the BTEC courses there whilst running my own independent acting classes via my company 'ACT on it' - Oldham.
